For purposes of this 'Acknowledgement and assumption of risk, indemnity, Disclaimer' agreement (the 'Agreement'), 'Events' means collectively the Epic Run events held from time to time at various locations within South Africa and any activities related to my participation. I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge and agree that:

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK.
Participation in or attendance at the Events involves inherent risks and dangers of accidents, personal and bodily injury (including death) and property loss or damage. These may result from my own actions or inactions, as well as the actions or inactions of others, the rules of play, and the condition of the facilities and equipment. Further, there may be other risks not known to me and not reasonably foreseeable at this time.

I have considered the nature and extent of the risks involved and I voluntarily choose to assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even risks that result from the negligence of the Released Parties (defined below) or others and assume full responsibility for my participation in the Events. I consent to treatment in the event of an emergency or other incident in which, in the reasonable judgement of the onsite personnel, I require medical care.

2. RELEASE.
I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, estate, insurers, successors and assigns, hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless EpicRunZA and the affiliates, their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, representatives, successors, assigns and insurers, and all owners or lessors of premises used in connection with the Event (collectively the 'Released Parties') with respect to any and all claims or causes of action I may have for damages for personal or bodily injury, disability, death, loss or damage to person or property relating in any way to the Events, whether arising from the negligence of any or all of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. AUTHORIZATION TO RECORD AND TO USE RECORDINGS, NAME AND LIKENESS.
I hereby grant to EpicRunZA, its affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, assigns, agents and licensees (collectively the 'Recorders') permission to photograph, video record and otherwise record my image, voice, or any other aspect of the recording at the Events (collectively the 'Recording') and to perpetually use the Recording, my name and my additional consideration.

I shall have no right of approval and no legal claim arising out of any use or editing of the Recording, my name or my likeness. The Recorders shall have no obligation to use any of the rights I grant. I represent that it is not necessary for the Recorders to obtain permission from or to pay any third party in connection with the rights granted in this paragraph.

4. COMPLIANCE WITH EPICRUNZA EVENT RULES.
I will at all times comply with all Epic Run ZA event rules established by Epic Run ZA, and its affiliates and subsidiaries. In addition, I will not be running with my minor children, nor will I be running with a dog.

This Agreement shall be governed by, and interpreted and construed in accordance with laws of the Republic of South Africa and the parties hereby consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South Gauteng provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions and any portions thereof, shall not be effected thereby and shall be binding upon the parties hereto and enforceable as though the invalid or unenforceable provision or portion thereof were not contained in this Agreement.

I have read this Agreement, fully understand its terms and understand that I am giving substantial rights by signing it.
I sign this Agreement freely and voluntarily, without any inducement or coercion.
