Join us for a -30KM EPIC Run - WestGate to EastGate!
One of the flattest, smoothest Epic Runs you'll ever find. Flat, fast, effortless - an easy 28KM cruise that literally cuts through the word "Johannesburg" on your Strava map.

Meeting Point: EastGate Mall at 04:30 for 05:00
Run Start: WestGate Mall at 06:00
Cost: R150 (for refreshments and transport)
Parking & Transport Details:
- Park at EastGate Shopping Centre from 04:30. The parking lot next to the Shell Garage will open at 04:30am. Drive up the ramp towards Entrance 3 and use the parking lot on your right after the boom gates. (The mall charges R10 flat rate on weekends/public holidays.)
- Free parking is also available next to the Shell Garage and around Entrance 4, but not recommended.
- We'll walk down the ramp towards the Shell Garage to check in at least 30 minutes before departure.
- 05:15 - Bus departs to WestGate Mall.
- 06:00 - Run begins back to EastGate Mall.
Additional Info:
- Warm-up and stretch at WestGate Mall parking (in front of Entrance 1). If driving directly to WestGate, park in the free parking lot there.
- Recommended to park at EastGate to avoid waiting for transport back. Bus transport back to WestGate will only leave once all WestGate parkers finish the run.
Route: +-28KM (loop around EastGate adds up to 30KM). Download GPX file.
Pace: Strictly an easy LSD run. 5'00"/km to 9'00"/km.
